- Gyproc® Drywall Robust -Partition and Wall System in heavy duty.
- GypWall® Drywall ROBUST is a highly impact-resistant partition system for use where a more durable solution is required. All GypWall® ROBUST systems utilize Gyproc® Gypsum board to give enhanced levels of resistance to damage from everyday occurrences, such as school bags being knocked against corridor walls as pupils move from one lesson to the next. As a result, the system provides a lightweight, non-loadbearing partition ideal for all types of commercial, healthcare and educational buildings that experience high levels of human traffic.
Key facts
- Achieves Severe Duty with only a double layer of Gyproc® Regular Gypsum Board to each side of the partition.
- Reduced maintenance cycles due to impact resistance.
- Fully compatible with other Saint-Gobain Gyproc® drywall ROBUST can be specified in areas of the building that really need it, whilst other GypWall® partitions can be used in lower duty performance zones for an optimal project value.
- Increased levels of acoustic performance are available.

(1)Appropriate GypFrame® ‘U’ Tracks are suitably fixed to the floor and soffit.
(2) GypFrame® 'C' Studs are suitably fixed to abutments.
(3) GypFrame® ‘C’ studs are then friction fitted into the GypFrame® ‘U’ Tracks at required centers.
(4) Door openings are constructed to suit the partitions' duty rating.
(5) The perimeter of the partition is then sealed on both sides with Gyproc® Sealant.
(6) M&E services can be located within the partition cavity.
(7) Insulation can also be added to the partition cavity for increased acoustic performance.
(8) Gyproc® Gypsum Boards are fixed to the framework with Gyproc® Drywall Screws.
